Description

This door trim is milled from thermo-radiata pine — a radiata pine that has been heat-treated to drive out moisture and resins, which improves dimensional stability and resistance to the humidity cycles inside a sauna. The 1x2 profile measures 12 mm × 42 mm, giving you a clean, narrow reveal that frames door openings without adding visual bulk.

Available in eight lengths from 1 foot (292 mm) through 8 feet, you can select exactly what the job requires and minimize offcuts. We carry the full length run so the trim can be matched to virtually any standard sauna door opening or custom rough opening size.

Key Features

Thermo-radiata pine construction — heat treatment removes moisture and resins, reducing the warping and checking that untreated pine develops in high-humidity sauna environments
1x2 profile (12 mm × 42 mm) provides a slim, consistent reveal that keeps door frames looking intentional rather than bulky
Eight lengths available (1 ft / 292 mm through 8 ft) so you can cut waste to a minimum on any door opening
Consistent milling across the length run means pieces from different lengths will align flush when butted or mitered at corners

1'

292 mm nominal length — suited to short horizontal header pieces or filler sections

2'

Approximately 610 mm — useful for narrow side casings or accent fills

3'

Approximately 914 mm — covers standard lower side-casing runs on compact sauna doors

4'

Approximately 1219 mm — works for mid-height side casings on most sauna door openings

5'

Approximately 1524 mm — spans the full side casing on many standard sauna doors in a single piece

6'

Approximately 1829 mm — accommodates taller door openings without a seam on the side casing

7'

Approximately 2134 mm — suits ceiling-height or oversized custom door frames

8'

Approximately 2438 mm — the longest option, providing maximum flexibility for large or non-standard openings

LUMBER CURBSIDE FREIGHT — QUOTED

Lumber ships curbside freight. The quote is based on the amount of lumber ordered. Our team will provide a freight quote after checkout.

This is the only shipping option when the order includes lumber, including an order that also has a heater. Checkout does not offer another shipping choice on that order.

CURBSIDE

The driver brings the lumber to ground level. Boards over 8 feet ship on a pallet and may need a dock or hand offload. That is part of the quote. We confirm access before it ships.

Great Cold Plunge Tub

This is a great cedar-sided cold plunge tub. I spent a considerable amount of time researching cold plunge tubs and wanted one with real ceder wood to fit my sauna room. It also has a durable heat pump, compared to lower-quality chillers. I have had it a few months and no issues. Also, in the pics below, I have the chiller, which is about a 2' x 2' cube plumbed to a different space for a clean sauna room look. I would highly recommend this tub and the price is less than some on the market.

These guys are AMAZING!

These guys are AMAZING! I’d leave 10 stars if I could. We purchased a barrel sauna and cold plunge from them in fall 2025. They were absolutely terrific to work with! Our contractor and electrician had many (many) questions, all were promptly and kindly answered. They even customized our order by selling an extra long cord so we could install control panel inside for extra protection in MN winters. Shipping and delivery was a breeze. We are using our sauna daily and love it! Zero hesitation recommending this company! Thank you Johnny and Mitch for all your help!!!

What a wonderful sauna!

Researched many saunas for many months. Finally landed on this one. Only complaints i have are the instructions weren't very well written and the trim on the outside was very difficult to put together. We use it almost daily.
