Alder is a traditional sauna wood chosen for its low resin content and relatively low thermal mass — it heats up quickly and stays comfortable to the touch even at high bench-level temperatures. The STS4 tongue-and-groove profile locks boards edge-to-edge so fasteners can be hidden through the tongue, keeping the finished wall or ceiling surface completely clear of visible nail heads.

Under 40 pieces generally ships FedEx Ground in cardboard. Over 40 pieces generally ships LTL with a liftgate on a wood pallet. The longest board in the order sets the rate tier.
